Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Community

  • Disney and team surprised our families with a visit to the house on January 21st. For some, this was their first time getting to meet Mickey, and thanks to them, we were the happiest house on earth that day!

  • On February 13th, 98 Rock in partnership with Local Licks hosted a Battle of the Bands event benefiting Camp Ronald McDonald. Aside from raising enough funds to send two kids to Camp for a week, they also managed to fulfill and donate many of the items that are on our wish list. Special thanks to Mark Gilmore of 98 Rock for organizing such a fun event that benefited our kids!

Volunteers in Action

The Roughnecks graciously donated four brand new flat panel televisions with built in DVD players for the family bedrooms.

Thank you to Coit for coming out and doing what they do best, and that's cleaning the House floors! Our families appreciate you donating your time and hard work to maintaining a clean environment for us!

The Simplex-Grinnell team spent a day off from work to inspect our fire sprinklers and make sure that were all set to pass our five year fire sprinkler certification. This team led by Cecil Taylor did an outstanding job and we thank them for giving up a portion of their weekend to help keep us up to code.

Gramma's Hugs came to the House twice in the month of March to spend their time making ponchos, blankets and bags to pass out to children around the world. Founder of Gramma's Hugs Shirley King and her volunteers are a fabulous team and we thank them for making a difference in the life of a child.

As always, we'd like to send a very special thank you to the many organizations and individuals who have helped us out and participated in the Odd Job Work Parties. These supporters fix, clean or set-up the random tasks we need done here at the House. We appreciate you all for cleaning the kitchens & playrooms and all the other tasks that come with maintaining a home!

Thank you to the following organizations:
  • Foothills-Highland Rotary
  • Zencar
  • 4 Rent Magazine
  • Old Castle Sierra Building Products
