President: Thomas Tuter, Jr. – BBVA Compass
Tom is part of the newest class of 2011 Board inductees. Tom is a Senior Vice President with BBVA Compass and spends his free time enjoying the outdoors including coaching youth sports. Tom joined the Board for an opportunity to get involved with a youth-oriented charity that fulfills an important mission within the community. Tom Chairs the Finance Committee.

Vice President: Jerry Alestra – Southwest Airlines
Jerry is the Manager of Provisioning for Southwest Airlines and joined the Board in 2006. Jerry is married and the father of four and serves on the Community Relations and Red Shoe Crawl Committees. Jerry has been active with various RMHC chapters since first beginning with Southwest in 1993.

Secretary: Clay Merrill– Moroch
Clay is the married father of four and provides PR for local McDonald’s restaurants and has been a longtime volunteer for the Charity serving on both the Red Shoe Crawl and Community Relations committees.

TreasurerPercy Johnson– McDonald’s
Percy has been an avid supporter of the Charity throughout his years as a McDonald’s Owner/Operator and recently joined the Board in an effort to be even more involved. He also sits on the Finance Committee.

Steven Stuck – Univision KUVS 19
Steve is the current Past President and has been an active Board Member since 2001. As the Vice President General Manager at Univision 19/UniMas 64, he joined the Board as a way to give back to the community, but his experiences and the cause have made the true difference. Steve enjoys traveling, sports and spending time with his family.

Judie Boehmer – UC Davis Medical Center
Judie became a member of the Board in 2009 and is the Assistant Director for Patient Care Services at University of California, Davis Children’s Hospital. Judie joined the Board because she was interested in providing great care and making a difference for both patients and families that are hospitalized. Judie serves on four other Boards and enjoys exercising, gardening and spending time with friends and family.

Patrick Diffley – McDonald’s USA, LLC
Patrick became a Board Member in 2011 and is the Area Construction Manager for McDonald’s USA, Pacific Sierra Region. Patrick’s connection to the Charity was the result of one of his children being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Today that son is thriving. Patrick serves on the Board to ensure that parents and children have a safe place they can call home when dealing with a medical crisis. Patrick is a member of the Camp Committee.

Ken Doyle – Doyle Ranch, Inc.
Ken is an ex-officio member of the Board and was instrumental in the early stages of Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake and continues to be an ongoing supporter.

Alan Godlove – McDonald’s
Alan joined the board in 2012 and is an Owner/Operator for McDonald’s. Alan’s desire to help children is what led him to join the Board. He sits on the Community Relations Committee and enjoys golf, biking, hiking and camping in his spare time.

Dave Handler – McDonald’s – Retired
Dave has been a Board member since 2004 and is retired from owning several McDonald’s restaurants. Dave was an original Board member for the Charity when it opened its doors in 1998 and has been instrumental in providing financial expertise in his role on the Finance Committee. In his spare time, Dave makes trips to his vacation home in Oregon, has written a children’s book and spends time with his two grandchildren.

A.J. Johnson – Shriners Hospitals for Children
AJ joined the Board in 2010 and works as the Director, Quality & Accreditation for Shriners Hospitals for Children Northern California. A.J. joined the board to contribute to the growth and success of the Charity to continue meeting the needs of children and their families. When not working, A.J. enjoys spending time with his family, skiing and golfing.

Percy Johnson– McDonald’s
Percy has been an avid supporter of the Charity throughout his years as a McDonald’s Owner/Operator and recently joined the Board in an effort to be even more involved. He also sits on the Finance Committee.

Robert McLean – Roebbelen Contracting
Rob has been a Board Member since 2008 and is the Vice President, Corporate Operations with Roebbelen Contracting. Rob currently chairs the Building Committee.

Nancy Schrader – McDonald’s Owner/Operator
Nancy became a Board Member in 2006. As a McDonald’s Owner/Operator, a member of the Schrader family has been part of the Board since the Charity’s inception. Nancy volunteers on the House Committee and supports all of the Charity’s events.

Dave Harmon- Bank of America Merrill Lynch
Dave is a traveling enthusiast who happens to be the Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He joined the Board in 2015 and sits on the Community Relations and Red Shoe Crawl Committees. Among the many organizations Dave is engaged with,  he is currently the President of the Northern California Sigma Chi Alumni Association. His passion for community involvement has led him to RMHCNC, which he recognized as an incredible organization that provides families with help during a vulnerable time.

Kate Jackson- Moss Adams LLP
Kate has practiced public accounting since 2006, primarily focused in health care organizations.  She functions as the engagement senior manager leading the audit process for over 35 health care, not-for-profit, and governmental agencies. Kate earned a BS in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Maria Ravera – The McClatchy Company
Maria joined the board in 2015 and on behalf of The Sacramento Bee, has partnered with the Charity on many marketing promotions for years. She also serves on the Community Relations committee.  Maria enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with her family.

Katie Mola – Senior Staff Attorney, CalPERS
Katie is a Senior Staff Attorney at CalPERS, where she practices employment law.  When not working or spending time with her two young sons, Katie enjoys running in races throughout the Sacramento region.  Katie has volunteered for the Charity as a Community Relations committee member since 2013, and recently joined the Board in 2016.

Farres Everly– Director of Marketing and Communications, SMUD

For more than 25 years, Farres has called the Sacramento region home and currently resides in Folsom with is wife Maria. He has served as Director of Marketing and Communications since 2009 at SMUD. Farres has previously served as a committee volunteer at the California Waterfowl Association, on the board of the Sacramento chapter of the American Lung Association and currently sits on RMHCNC Annual Sporting Clays tournament committee.
