Between community partners and funds received from Global Ronald McDonald House Charities, Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern California facilitates the RMHC U.S. Scholarship Program.
This program is designed to provide financial assistance to eligible graduating high school seniors who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. Students are selected and awards are distributed based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement. These scholarships are a part of the Charity's ongoing commitment to education. How to Apply: Beginning October 1, 2012, students may apply online by clicking here. Graduating high school seniors may only apply for one of the four scholarships. Applicants will be notified of scholarship award status in May – June, 2013. The deadline for the 2013 academic year is December 20, 2012 and all mailed back-up documents must be postmarked by the same date.For any questions about the Scholarship Program application process, please contact International Scholarship and Tuition Services, Inc. The four types of scholarships available include: RMHC®/Scholars: All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin.
RMHC®/Asia: Applicant must have at least one parent of Asian-Pacific heritage.
RMHC®/African-American Future Achievers: Applicant must have at least one parent of African American or Black Caribbean heritage.
RMHC®/HACER®: Applicant must have at least one parent of Hispanic/Latino heritage.
