Volunteer Spotlight
In order to earn their Girl Scout Silver Award, Troop 397 came to the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House looking for ways to help children and their families struggling through a medical crisis. With the help of their parents, they decided to build an enclosed sandbox. This fun space would offer a new opportunity for kids to enjoy playing outdoors in a safe environment. Thanks to Haley Sheridan, Casey Parish, Lindsay Richardson, Brooke Carroll, Selina Wiseman and their wonderful parents, children staying at the House have a new way to escape the confines of the hospital and just be kids.
