One Day at a Time

Ashley’s Story

I am 19 and turning 20 in May. These past 4 years have been some of the hardest years of my life. I have never cried so much in my life. There were times that I didn’t think I would make it through. I just kept praying and praying, so did my family and friends. You just can never give up, you don’t know how much you can take unless you are faced with it.

There is a reason that all of this is happening to me. I just haven’t been able to figure it out yet. Maybe it’s only to touch the lives of my loved ones for a short amount of time, but what a great time we’ve had.

I feel that I can face the toughest competitors now that I have made it up the hill. Now, I just hope that I will make it to the bottom of the other side. For anyone who reads this, stay strong and focused. It’s okay to cry and struggle. And most importantly, thank the good Lord up above for every day you have on this earth.

Love,

Ashley
